Great men of God

You are fearfully and wonderfully made

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:14 NLT) You’re Wonderful. Do you know that? You really are. You are One-of-a-Kind. You’re Special. Unique. You are not a Mistake or an Accident or a Lost Cause. You’re Wonderful. You were hand-crafted by God. Your parents may have given you life and brought you into this world, but God Himself breathed His Spirit into you and handed you to them from Heaven. A piece of Him, who is called Wonderful, lives in YOU. That makes you Wonderful, too! Oh, I know it doesn’t always shine through like you want it to. There are times you probably feel like anything BUT wonderful. But that wonderful does shine through sometimes. Those acts of kindness you do. Those words of encouragement you speak. Those gestures of love and acceptance that you give. All of those and more are the “Wonderful You” shining through. It’s in there. HE is in there. You just need to let Him out more. Some of us have been beaten down so much by other people that we’ve almost lost touch with the Wonderful that’s within us. Many of us are living under a canopy of “not-so-wonderful” that has been built over us. But we don’t have to live there. No matter what others have said or done, or what names they have called you, or what pigeonhole they have tried to put you in, you need to reclaim the REAL you, the CREATED you, the WONDERFUL you! It’s time to open your heart to the fullness of who God made you to be. It’s time you stopped letting others treat you like anything other than the incredible masterpiece that God Himself fashioned in you. It’s time YOU started treating yourself as if you are wonderful, too! Look in the mirror. See that person? Yes, they are human and fallible and have made their share of mistakes. But look deeper. Do you know what else they are? They are a unique, incredible, and beautiful Child of God. And if you look deep inside, you’ll see the glow of the glory of God. That glow is the radiant light of who you really are. Wonderful. That’s God’s Word for you today.
