Do Church Folks KNOW Scripture?

When the first public education schools were founded across the nation the teaching materials were strongly biblically centered. Texts, examples of sentence formation, grammar, spelling and more involved the use of scripture from the Holy Bible. Students memorized scripture at school and at church. Today, these references have been surgically removed from all public education resources. The end result is a radical decline of scripture memorization, the ability to quickly locate a relevant verse and even personal familiarity with God’s Holy Word!
