Here a few thoughts from Edwin Louis Cole’s book titled Strong Men in Tough Times.
Dr. Cole was the founder of the Christian Men’s Network and his ministry was focused at helping men to become Men of God. As a result of his ministry, our Thursday night Bible study (Wounded Heart Ministries) was forever changed and became focused and energized in our mission to reach men for Christ. Through Dr. Cole’s books, seminars, Promise Keeper events and personal teaching sessions we gained a new perspective on reaching men for Christ.

Here are some “Coleisms” that we’ve gathered from the above mentioned book:

• A man without an organized system of thought will always be at the mercy of the man who has one.

• Knowledge of God’s Word is a bulwark (something that provides protection for or against something) against deception, temptation, accusation, even persecution.

• Weakness ascends when strength abdicates (to fail to do what is required by duty or responsibility).

• We need to ask God for:

1) Wisdom which will produce a
2) Strategy that leads to
3) Victory resulting in
4) GLORY TO GOD!

And after all…..aren’t we here to bring GLORY to our GOD by our lives?
