2018 Iron Sharpens Iron – Baton Rouge was GREAT!

WHAT WAS IT LIKE?

The Jan 20th IRON SHARPENS IRON National Men’s Conference held in Baton Rouge was a standout event! Men traveled from 7 different States across the country to be a part of this moving men’s event. The entire day was powerful. We were blessed by a large turnout of men that were truly fed by the Spirit and all left with new tools and ideas to equip them at home, church, and their community.

The Keynote Speakers brought powerful messages of personal challenge to men. Lt. Col. Chuck Stecker challenged men to be part of the solution and not part of the problem and provided great scripture from Nehemiah. Chief Kelvin Cochran gave a moving personal testimony of how God has taken him through adversity to prepare and anoint him for his current ministry. Kelvin spoke about the numerous people in the Bible that God helped overcome adversity to prepare them for great things. Suffering always us to draw nearer to God in a way that is not possible without suffering.
